Teachings of Holy Quran

The Holy Quran is the ultimate source of guidance to all the humanity after it was revealed to the greatest of all prophets, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for well over 1400 years now. Ever since then countless humans have resorted to Holy Quran for seeking guidance and blessings of God Almighty.

Al-Baqara [2:2] This is the book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah.
The religion of Islam has greatly encouraged peace, love, kindness, and compassion. The Holy Quran signifies the importance of these acts in many verses, elaborating the benefits and necessity of these acts of kindness.

One such glorious teaching of the Holy Quran is about prohibition of racism. The racism is strictly prohibited in the religion of Islam and the Holy Quran very significantly explains the reason of the creation of different races. Consider the following verse from the Holy Quran:

"O mankind! We created you from a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes that you may know and honor each other (not that you should despise one another). Indeed the most honorable of you in the sight of God is the most righteous." Chapter 49, Verse 1

This verse not only explains the prohibition of racism but gives a solid reason as to why different races and tribes were created; just for the purpose of recognition, otherwise all human beings are equal in the eyes of the Mightiest, priority only given to the ones most pious. Only the Muslim who fulfils his duties is better in the eyes of God.

Thus we find worth compliant teachings like these mentioned very frequently in Holy Quran, so all we need to do is to give heed to them for our very own betterment.
