Comprehending the Holy Quran

It is simply beyond man's rational grasp to comprehend or to describe the greatness and significance of what the Holy Quran holds for him. Still, one needs to have a basic idea of what potential of greatness, wealth, peace and eternity Quran holds for whole of the humanity. God Almighty Himself states the fact:

Aal-e-Imran [3:164] Indeed Allâh conferred a great favour on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger (Muhammad SAW) from among themselves, reciting unto them His Verses (the Quran), and purifying them (from sins by their following him), and instructing them (in) the book (the Quran) and Al¬Hikmah [the wisdom and the Sunnah of the Prophet PBUH (i.e. his legal ways, statements, acts of worship)], while before that they had been in manifest error.

These words of God are a proof enough for the authenticity and significance of Te Holy Book he sent for the very own betterment of humanity as his ultimate blessing and bestowment. The greatest of Prophets, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) also signified the importance of Quran in these words:

"I am leaving you two things and you will never go astray as long as you cling to them -- they are the Book of Allah and my Sunnah." [Reported by Al- Haakim - Sahih].

The glorious words like these from The Mightiest (God) and His beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are an inspiration more than enough for the faithful ones to learn, comprehend and live their lives according to the wish and will of God in order to show their gratitude and thankfulness of highest degrees.
