9 (NINE) GREAT BENEFITS OF QURAN RECITATION

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)

In the moment of time there have been certain aspects to which we Muslims have ignored the true meaning of it and for such a reason we are expected to follow the recommended path that leads to forgiveness and mercy. A good example would be of reciting Quran, where one cannot understand the meanings and still believe to acquire benefits. Such as:

  1. Your status in this life will be raised
  2. The Qur’an will lead you to Paradise!
  3. You will be from the best of the people
  4. The Qur’an will intercede for us on the Day of Judgment
  5. The Qur’an will be a proof for us on the Day of Judgment
  6. Reading and reflecting over the Qur’an fulfils an Islamic duty
  7. There are ten rewards for each letter you recite from the Quran
  8. The person reciting Qur’an will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels
  9. Your position in Paradise is determined by the amount of Qur’an you memorize in this life!

The Prophet said: “The Qur’an is an intercessor, something given permission to intercede, and it is rightfully believed in. Whoever puts it in front of him, it will lead him to Paradise; whoever puts it behind him, it will steer him to the Hellfire.” [An authentic Hadith found in At-Tabaraanee, on the authority of ‘Abdullaah ibn Mas’ood]

There can be nothing beautiful and more special than the divine source of blessing such as Quran and for such a reason there can be no excuse to recite Quran with appropriate understanding and practice to acquire a lot more benefits.

THE LOST PURPOSE, OBJECTIVE OF RAMADAN

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)

Being Muslims we know the importance and virtue of Ramadan in ISLAM and the blessings, mercy and potential forgiveness showered in the given month is the option which every Muslim tries to achieve just for a reason that there cannot be anything like it otherwise as this is the month in which we are to harvest the maximum.

The First Type:

On the very contrast to the opinion there are options which impose certain risks to those who are unaware of the greatness of this very month who are unaware of the blessings, mercy and forgiveness offered in this very special month and this is where we can do nothing but much to pray for the very soul to seek Tawba.

The Second Type:

Then comes the phase where another group of people are seen praying in mosque who have not been coming to mosque otherwise, rest of the year, it is those who are seen to be reciting Quran and other Ibadaat. However, what it is more important is that there have been types of intentions and actions which are awarded.

The Third (Truly Devoted) Type:

Then there comes those who know the very precise importance of Ramadan and know what they have to do to make their actions, deeds, fasting (abstaining from food, drink & sexual desire), sowing patience and devoting their more time and resources in good cause such as charity and seeking the blessings, mercy with forgiveness from ALLAH (SWT).

RAMADAN (IN CONTEXT OF AYATH) LAST ASRAH AND ITS OFFERINGS

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)

Not all are aware of the fact that RAMADAN (IN CONTEXT OF AYATH) MONTH OF QURAN REVELATION is a very special month for which ALLAH (SWT) has promised that believers are truly blessed with this month because they are to acquire such provisions which are not available for any other month.

In addition there comes more knowledge which relates to us as the importance of such a month in which we are to know that the true blessings of Ramadan is an ideal gift to the entire mankind seeking forgiveness, mercy and blessings. This is the month in which Quran was revealed and this is the month, Ramadan in which we are told that the Night of Power (Shab-e-Qadr) is to be found and make the most out of it for such a reason.

As Allah (SWT) says: “And do not have sexual relations with them (your wives) while you are in Itikaf in the mosques. These are the limits (set) by Allah, so approach them not. Thus does Allah make clear His signs to mankind that they may become Al Muttaqun (the pious)" (Quran 2:187)

"Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr. And what will make you know what the night of Al-Qadr is? The night of Al-Qadr is better than a thousand months Therein descend the angels and the Ruh (Gabriel) by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, Peace! until the appearance of dawn (97:1-5)

What Do You Know About Fasting?

(In the Name of Allah (SWT), Most Gracious, Most Merciful, all praise and thanks are due to Allah, Lord of the Realms and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger (SAWS) and upon all his family and companions)

Fasting is practiced in the month of Ramadan and this is where we are told the importance and glory of this special month and how we are to experience and practice the appropriate learning to make the real difference and this is why you as a believer should know how Fasting In The Month Of Ramadan is Defined:

In one variant of al-Bukhari, “He has left his food and drink and appetites for My sake. Fasting is Mine and I repay it. Any other good deed I repay with ten like it.”

In a variant of Muslim, “Every action of the son of Adam is multiplied. A good action receives from ten to seven hundred times.”

Allah Almighty said, “Fasting is Mine and I repay it. He leaves his appetites and food for My sake. The faster experiences two joys: a joy when he breaks his fast and a joy when he meets his Lord. The changed breath in the mouth of the faster is more fragrant to Allah than the scent of musk.”

1216. Abu Hurayra reported that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “The one who spends out two kinds of actions in the way of Allah will be summoned from the gates of the Garden and told, ‘O slave of Allah this is better.’

“All the people who did the prayer will be called from the gate of the prayer. All the people who did jihad will be called from the gate of jihad. All the people who fasted will be called from the gate of Rayyan. All the people who gave sadaqa will be called from the gate of sadaqa.”

Abu Bakr said, “May my father and mother be sacrificed for you, Messenger of Allah. No one called from those gates will feel distress. Will anyone be called from all those gates?” He said, “Yes, and I hope that you will be among them.” [Agreed upon]
